Lulu energy bra, swiftly tank, fast cat skirt and vibram bikilas (though I went to Belmont domain and there were lots of gravel/off-road areas so should have worn treksport shoes for grip).

Horrible jog today. Walked the last 2km of it. Sore leg :( not happy. Surf shorts (roxy or billabong, can't recall?) with heaps of tops to stay warm!

Motivation still lacking so only a short one today. Free People long sleeved t and lulu speed shorts. It was hella cold though and I actually grabbed a jacket and a beanie just as I was heading out the door.

Had to jog today to meet my 20km target for the week and it was so hard! Quite a bit of walking. Got there eventually though. Lulu speeds and NLT, with my KSO vibrams.

Lululemon Run: Wild jacket, first run in it and I really like it. It was raining and the pockets kept my phone dry but I didn't get all sticky and uncomfy. LLL RFYL crops too and my poor vibram speeds that got drenched going through all the puddles. Woke up too sore to jog so had to go in my lunchtime at work- which was weird and not that enjoyable.

Headed into Hutt City this morning. Well lit but somehow felt way less safe than up in the hills. Layered up with a Bendon singlet under my Adidas tshirt and my RFYL crops- kept me nice and warm without overheating like a jacket does.

Puma crops and NLT today. Was quite a mild morning. Got stitch though- not sure why. And ankles felt a bit crap so it was slow going and a bit more walking than I'd have liked. Ordered some more stuff so hopefully new outfit to take pics of late next week!

Lululemon energy bra & swiftly tank, with an Adidas tennis skirt today.. And my vibram five finger bikilas. I did some more off-road stuff and the bikilas were sort of slippery for that. Deffo stick to the treksport model in future for the off road stuff. Sweated a bit in the skirt. These Adidas skirts don't breathe that well. Might have to buy some purpose made running skirts.

Toothache! Dentist tomorrow can't come soon enough. Daylight jog in Adidas running shorts and LLL cardio kick tank. The shorts rode up a bit near the end of the jog and got a bit uncomfy- not sure if it was because I was out in the middle of the day (sunny) or just the cut of the shorts not quite great for my chubby thighs?

Turns out a jog is good for the toothache (or maybe the cold air is good for it). 6.2km in 55mins today, up a route I don't normally take with more off road sections to test out my trail running vibram treksport shoes. They feel a bit bulky on the road at times but really good on stones and stuff. LLL speed shorts and a jacket that got ditched very quickly- even when it's very chilly I just can't jog in a jacket- one day I will learn this!

Toothache plus cold weather resulted in a session on the cross trainer replacing my planned jog (didn't want to get stuck 3km from home with no codeine!). Puma capris with the waist rolled down and an old Bendon sports top today, not very exciting at all.

So what happened to the massive cold snap? I set out this morning in crops (LLL RFYL), a long sleeved tee (ratty old cotton billabong one), and a beanie and I was overheating in no time. Now the radio tells me the worst of the cold snap will be tomorrow morning while I am curled up in a warm bed which suits me fine to be honest!
Aside from all that, today was a success... Tried to stride out a bit more and managed some new personal bests - not by much but every little win is something to celebrate I guess.

34 mins on the xtrainer after work watching Teen Wolf (such a dumb show). Rocking my Canterbury stadium pants like a true kiwi girl, with a Lululemon no limits tank in a jade & grey colourway. Forgot how comfy the original stadium pants are compared to the newer styles.

Not feeling it at all this morning so just walked the entire route (maybe a hangover?). Wore my speed shorts with a totally not matching orange tank because why not. Hoped to get a picture from the top of the hill but it didn't turn out, so just a crap photo of the moon all enlarged and pixelated.

First attempt on the new (to me, not actual new) cross trainer / elliptical machine. Did 33 minutes, unsure on distance as the machine had 11km and we certainly weren't going that fast! Wore an Adidas climacool shirt and climacool tennis skirt with built in shorties (these ones are breathable, which my black Adidas skirt isn't- so these were much more comfy). The shirt did get warm as I was inside, but not uncomfortably so.

Rain! My first jog in the rain and I was worried about slipping over again so I went to the one flat road in the area and just did laps of that. Wore my LLL speed shorts (midnight iris) and an old billabong long sleeved t (because it was a bit chilly!), with vibram KSOs in orange/tan... The vibrams look fairly yellow in most lights so matched the yellow detail on the shorts. Top doesn't go with anything but did keep me warm, winning!

Slower than expected again this morning- not really sure why, just felt I couldn't (or didn't want to) stride out at all. Still managed to get a good distance but it did take longer than I really wanted to spend on jogging today. The new 'run for your life' crops were still comfy but they are quite warm, don't think I'd want to jog in the middle of the day wearing them. Teamed today with an energy bra and an old Lulu yoga top I got off trademe (the straps from this look pretty neat over the pink straps of the energy bra).

My new crops arrived! They are Lululemon run for your life crops. Went for a quick (though somehow slow!) jog in them tonight to test them out. Very comfy and quite warm- be interesting to see if they are too warm on longer outings. But so far I am happy - and such a pretty colour. Worn tonight with a men's x-small New Balance jacket and my vibram speeds.

First run in this black top. It's a Lulu top but as I got it 2nd hand I'm not sure of the name of it, it's similar to mile a minute but not quite the same. It's comfy and doesn't wriggle/ride up. Has quite a lot of support so you can wear a normal bra under rather than a sports bra if you want. Teamed it with an old Adidas tennis skirt (built in shorties) which was great for the first 5km but then the shorties rode up a bit and rubbed / got annoying.
Wasn't feeling it today so I walked almost all of the uphill sections. Did my usual loop backwards and it just doesn't flow nicely that way. Did some mini laps of the one flat street all at a jog to make up some time/distance without having to do more hills! As a result, got lots of new personal bests.

Fell over! Wasn't even 200m into my walkies-joggies and I fell over! Got up and kept going for a bit, I'd aimed to do 3km but quit after 2km and went to clean up my rather unpleasant gravel rash. I look slimmer in the pic, but (sadly) that is just an optical illusion due to angles.

New clothes! I'm in Queenstown on holiday so I hit the Lululemon store and bought some shorts, a bra, a top and a beanie! This was my first jog/walkies in some of my new gears (run: groovy shorts and the energy bra) so I was determined to set some new records and ended up going about 2km further than I have before.

My first proper walkies, where I got up in the morning and put some shorts and walking shoes on and even attempted a few jogs! Probably jogged a quarter of the total distance but not all at once- just in little spurts.
